| Arun Mathew |
Arun joined Accel in 2009 and focuses on investments in infrastructure software, consumer internet and digital media companies. Arun was a part of the team that led Accel’s investment in Groupon, a global marketplace linking consumers with local merchants, Squarespace, a premier web publishing platform, and Yapstone, a leading payments platform in the property management space. He is also actively involved with Accel’s investments in Showroomprive, a private sale e-commerce vendor in France, as well as several of Accel’s investments in Brazil.
Prior to joining Accel, Arun was an Analyst with Insight Venture Partners in New York, where he worked with growth-stage companies primarily in the infrastructure software arena and Microsoft ecosystem. Before Insight, Arun worked in the corporate finance department of GE in Sydney, Australia.
Arun graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business with a BS in Economics and from the School of Engineering and Applied Science with a BAS in Systems Engineering and a minor in mathematics.
