Vijay joined the India growth investing team at Accel in March 2010.
Prior to joining Accel, Vijay was a consultant with McKinsey & Company in New Delhi. He worked with clients across a range of sectors, including energy, telecom, chemicals and pharmaceuticals on strategic, operational as well as organizational issues. His project experience includes developing India strategy for a global chemicals company, India market entry strategy for a telecom player, operations transformation at an energy company, etc.
Vijay graduated from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi with Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and was recipient of President's Silver medal for academic excellence. During this period, he also interned with IBM-US in their Systems and Technology group.
