Michiel Kotting
Michiel Kotting started working in technology as an entrepreneur in Silicon Valley in 1999, when he founded Digital Jones, an online shopping assistant. He successfully sold the company to Shopping.com, a company he then helped manage from New York and Israel. At Accel he focuses on consumer internet and SME enabling investments.
Before joining Accel Partners he was based in Amsterdam helping start-up companies with strategy and funding. Previously he managed the local operations of a global healthcare company in Latin America after spending time at their US headquarters as assistant to the CEO. He started his career as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group.
Education
Michiel has an MSc in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology, and an MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School.
