Lucy Wimmer

Lucy Wimmer joined Accel's team in London in 2020 and is responsible for the marketing, brand and communications strategy and programmes.

Prior to Accel, Lucy was the marketing and communications partner at EQT Ventures. Here, she built the fund's marcomms function and worked closely with EQT Ventures' portfolio companies, helping them to define and execute on their marketing and communications strategies.

With more than 15 years' experience in the B2B technology industry, Lucy has built and executed on programmes that propel companies from startups to global leaders that secure enterprises and governments as clients and partners. Previous marketing leadership roles have been at social analytics company DataSift and online collaboration platform Huddle. Before going in-house, Lucy spent five years agency-side and was named one of PR Week’s Top 29 Under 29.

Lucy graduated from The University of St. Andrews in Scotland with an MA in English Literature.
