At Accel, we continue to add talent to our team to help us find (and support) the next great generation of entrepreneurs. Recently, we announced Maya Noeth joining to work primarily with consumer growth businesses.

Today, we’re thrilled to announce another fresh face to the team—Ethan Choi.

Ethan joins us from Spectrum Equity where he worked on a number of interesting consumer subscription and SaaS investments including Lucid, Headspace, Prezi, and PicMonkey. Ethan’s ability to earn the trust of entrepreneurs we respect through a combination of hustle and deep domain expertise, stood out to us and we think will make him a great investor here.

Ethan also brings a unique global perspective to Accel. He grew up South Korea and Australia (home to a number of Accel companies—including Atlassian, OzForex and 99Designs), before coming to the U.S. and completing his studies at Brigham Young University.

Ethan will primarily look for growth-stage companies in the enterprise and consumer-subscription spaces at Accel with an eye toward global opportunities. We look forward to working with him.
