What’s something people are surprised to learn about you?
Although I spend a lot of time thinking about technology, I also have quite the artistic side and believe there is deep value in holding seemingly orthogonal interests. I rarely bring it up, but I’ve published a play, written a fifty-thousand word novel, and trained in vocal performance.
What's the most impactful piece of advice you've received?
"Most situations can survive a moment to pause and think. Many situations will be better off as a result." Offered by a favorite professor at Stanford (who also happened to be a notable venture capitalist), it reminds me that the first answer is not always the best answer.
What would you do with an hour of unexpected free time?
I'd run to the nearest workout class. Corepower, Barry's, Soulcycle, Solidcore... it doesn't matter. I love them all.
What is your most used emoji, gif, or meme?
