Kate Rogers

Kate joined Accel as Senior Content Manager in September 2026, with a focus on portfolio storytelling. She spent 15 years in broadcast and digital media, including more than a decade at CNBC. Born in Brooklyn, she grew up in Linden, New Jersey. She studied journalism at the University of Delaware.

What was your first job?

I spent my summers working at Dairy Queen with a crew of my best friends in high school. It remains one of my fondest memories of that era of life, just hanging out with friends and having unlimited access to what I still believe is some of the best ice cream out there.

What’s the most impactful piece of advice you’ve received?

I come from a curious and very talkative family. My mom always encouraged me to never be shy to ask people for their time, advice and insights, adding that you'd be surprised who might be willing to give you five minutes with them. It's served me well and helped me find myself asking people questions for a living!

What’s your all-time favorite movie, TV show, or book?

Growing up in New Jersey, I have to go with The Sopranos. Yes, even with that controversial ending.
