Cyera + Oasis: Securing the AI-Native Enterprise

When we backed Oasis at the Series A, non-human identity was an idea the market had not yet caught up to. Danny Brickman and Amit Zimmerman had seen what most had not: that as machines and AI agents came to outnumber people inside the enterprise, governing their access would become one of the foundational problems in security. I remember how contrarian that conviction felt at the time, and how quickly the market proved them right.

Since then it has been a privilege to watch them build. They turned an early conviction into agentic access management that the most demanding enterprises now depend on. Watching a company go from idea to inevitability is the reason we do this.

We saw the other half of the same picture at Cyera. As the company's largest backers, we've watched Yotam Segev, Tamar Bar-Ilan, Yonatan Itai, and their team turn data security into one of the fastest-growing platforms the category has produced, built on a single premise: you cannot protect what you cannot see.

Data security is only as strong as its understanding of who and what can reach the data. Cyera built the definitive view of the data. Oasis built the view of the non-human identities reaching for it. Bringing those together creates a far more powerful platform for the AI era. Every conversation I had with Danny and Amit pointed the same way, and it became clear this was less a matter of if than when.

Today, Cyera and Oasis announced their intention to combine. It is rare that we get to back both sides of a moment like this. Oasis will continue as its own unit within Cyera, which means the mission Danny and Amit began only gains reach.
