Accel led the Series A in Vox in 2008 with Accel’s Andrew Braccia joining Vox CEO Jim Bankoff on the company’s board of directors. Accel has continued to invest in and support the company through multiple fundraising rounds. In 2015, Comcast led a $200 million investment in the company as part of an initiative to partner with and distribute the Vox's unique digital content.
