Chantelle Darby
Chantelle joined Accel in 2017 as VP of Communications.
Prior to Accel, Chantelle founded and ran her own consulting practice. With a background in consumer and enterprise technology, she served as a strategic communications partner to a multitude of startup founders. In addition to launching companies such as Beepi, Luxe Valet, Rhumbix, Solv Health, and Sprig, she also consulted with Collective Health, Color Genomics, and Greylock Partners and helped launch Sheryl Sandberg's first book, Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead.
Chantelle started her consulting practice after nearly 5 years at Yelp, where she was an early employee. While based in New York she oversaw East Coast communications and managed Yelp's international rollout. She began her career on the agency side at firms Bite Communications and Alexander Ogilvy, where she ran public relations campaigns for Applied Materials, AMD, and Sun Microsystems.
Chantelle grew up in Menlo Park, CA and graduated from The University of St. Andrews in Scotland with an MA in English Literature.
