Biography

Martin Gibson led Accel’s investments in Appsme, Cambridge Broadband Networks, CarrierIQ, Helpling, MyHeritage, MyThings, Packlink, Pontis (acquired by Amdocs), Space Ape and Spreadshirt. He was also a board member at Sansa Security (acquired by ARM), Dragonplay (acquired by Bally), Ubiquisys (acquired by Cisco), The Cloud (acquired by BSkyB) and Telepo (acquired by Aastra).

Previously, Martin was a partner at Atlas Ventures. He began his career as an engineer with startups Cellstack and Madge Networks, then as a general manager at Scientific Generics (now Sagentia).

Martin is from Scotland and graduated from Cambridge and Cranfield School of Management.
