Uy Ut

Uy Ut joined Accel in 2017 as Accel's chief information officer and leads Accel’s IT efforts.

Uy has helped enterprises of all sizes through their digital transformation journey.

Before Accel, Uy was head of internal corporate applications at Uber. He led the buy side of the build vs buy software decision. Uy joined the ride-sharing startup from Pure Storage where he ran corporate IT.

He went to Pure Storage from the San Jose Sharks, where he was the Director of IT. Uy also worked in the high-end art, private and public education, and financial sectors.

Uy grew up in Gulfport, Mississippi and graduated from Tulane University. He has an MBA from CUNY Baruch College - Zicklin School of Business.
